Unfolding Mindfulness is committed to protecting your personal data. In this Privacy Policy we want to provide clear and transparent information about how we handle personal data.
We do everything we can to guarantee your privacy and therefore handle personal data with care. Unfolding Mindfulness complies in all cases with the current legislation and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation. This means that we:

Processing of personal data
Personal data of customers are processed by Unfolding Mindfulness for the following purpose (s):
- Administrative purpose;
- Communication about the agreement and/or invitations for events;
- Executing or issuing an agreement.
The basis for this personal data is:
- The signed agreement;
For the above objective (s), Unfolding Mindfulness may request the following personal data from you:
- First Name;
- Insertion;
- Last name;
- (Business) telephone number;
- (Business) email address;
Your personal data is stored by Unfolding Mindfulness for the benefit of the above processing (s) for the period:
- During the term of the agreement and thereafter only in the financial administration for up to 7 years.
Processing of personal data of newsletter subscribers
Personal data of newsletter subscribers is processed by Unfolding Mindfulness for the following purpose (s):
- Informing the subcribed person of news items.
The basis for this personal data is:
- The newsletter subscription form;
For the above objective (s), Unfolding Mindfulness may request the following personal data from you:
- First Name;
- Last name;
- E-mail address.
Your personal data is stored by Unfolding Mindfulness for the benefit of of the above processing (s) for the period:
- During the period that you are registered.
Sharing your personal data with third parties
Unfolding Mindfulness will not sell your details to third parties and will only provide them if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data in our assignment, we conclude a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Unfolding Mindfulness remains responsible for these processing operations.
Within the EU
We do not provide personal data to parties located outside the EU.
Minors
We only process personal data of minors (persons younger than 16 years) if written permission has been given by the parent, caregiver or legal representative.
Retention period
Unfolding Mindfulness does not store personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which they were provided or required by law.
Security
We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing. For example, we have taken the following measures;
- All persons who are aware of your data on behalf of Unfolding Mindfulness are obliged to observe confidentiality.

Computer programs
Unfolding Mindfulness uses uses the following computer programs or systems.
Mailchimp
With the aim of sending newsletters. The data stored there are only first name, last name and e-mail address. Unsubscribing from a newsletter can always be clicked on the link "Unsubscribe". The data will then remain in order to ensure that you will no longer receive a newsletter from Unfolding Mindfulness. You will be placed in Mailchimp at the moment you indicate that you wish to receive the newsletter.
Google Analytics
With the aim to anonymously analyze the use of the website and to improve the website. Google Analytics anonymizes all kinds of features of your computer, such as screen size and operating system and how long you have stayed on a page or site.
Rights regarding your data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Unfolding Mindfulness and you have the right to data portability.
This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal information we hold to you or another organization mentioned by you in a computer file. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for cancellation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to nicole@unfoldingmindfulness.com.
To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy.
We respond as quickly as possible, within four weeks. Unfolding Mindfulness also wants to point out that you have the opportunity to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, we kindly ask you to first contact us directly about this. We will gladly help you to try and resolve the issue in mutual agreement. Please address your complaint to nicole@unfoldingmindfulness.com.
