How do I sign up?

You can sign up by contacting me through the contact form, email or phone. I will get in touch with you as soon as possible to arrange an intake interview.

Below you find the practical details about the program and more background information about MBSR.

Intake interview
Before the program, every participant will meet in person with the trainer. The purpose of this meeting is to get to know each other, an opportunity to ask questions and to determine whether this is the right program for you. Please go to the ‘contact’ tab to contact me.

Once I have heard from you I will get in touch and we will agree a meeting time and place.

The program
The program consists of 8 sessions of 2,5 hours and a silent all day two thirds into the end of the program. The group can have a maximum of 10 people.

Weekly Tuesday morning sessions from 9:00 - 11:30 hrs.

The program cost is €275*. This includes a workbook and downloadable audio recordings.

The program will be held in the ‘Yogacentrum Leidse Hout’. This centre is located in a beautifully restored coach house (Koetshuis), surrounded by nature, in the quiet park ‘Leidse Hout’ between Leiden and Oegstgeest. The location invites a sense of calm and ease and is a perfect space for the 8-week program of MBSR.

The centre is easy to reach and has free parking (3-5 mins walk).

* Nicole is a fully qualified MBSR trainer, trained with the Center for Mindfulness at University of Massachusetts Medical School, where MBSR originates. She has several years of teaching experience in the US. She is currently a categorie II trainer according to the VMBN (Dutch Organization of Mindfulness based trainers) and training with the Centrum voor Mindfulness in Amsterdam to become a certified Categorie I trainer As this training is part of her training program, the rate of this training is a reduced one.

Nicole Flinterman, a mindfulness educator and coach, holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and she is a qualified mindfulness instructor through the Center for Mindfulness at UMass Medical School which was founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn, the originator of MBSR.
