Moving through change with more balance and ease
If you’re reading this, you are probably curious about mindfulness. Perhaps you have read a lot of it over time, perhaps it’s new to you. There are probably reasons that you have a curiosity towards it. One of the first things we often ask during out trainings is; ‘What brings you here?’ It sounds like a simple question, but it can be part of the answer of what you are looking for.
Perhaps you feel like you would like to:
feel more in control of my daily life by being able to make the right choices
increase your sense of connection with close relationships, and with people in general
be more focused, increase your concentration
be able to deal better with stress
feel more in connection with yourself
improve your relationships
deal better with an illness or physical issues
feel less overwhelmed with things
deal better with life issues like divorce, a big life transition, or an (international) move.
Sometimes life just starts to feel overwhelming, whether that is because of work issues, relationship issues, big changes in your life such as a move or a loss. These situations can give you a sense of being out of touch with life, with yourself and you don’t feel the support you need. And whatever you do, it doesn’t seem to solve that feeling.
Mindfulness is a not a panacea to all of this. But it’s a way of looking at the world, and your own world, in a different way. It can make life lighter, where you look at the challenges of life in a more centered, courageous and loving manner. Allowing you to move through change with more balance and ease.

Group Mindfulness programs/MBSR
Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8-week intensive training. Sessions are 2,5 hour long and you will practice daily with instructions. There is also a day long session halfway through the program where you will deepen your learning. In this format you will experience the support of a group, with which you are sharing the learning.

Sometimes it just does not work to join a group. Your work schedule is too irregular, or for other reasons it is not beneficial for you to be in a group. Then the individual mindfulness program might be something for you. It allows you to schedule it in a time that is convenient to you and because it is one on one, you simply get more attention.

This training follows the evidence based protocol of individual Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (iMBCT).
This is an individual training held in 8 weekly, one-hour long sessions. iMBCT has shown specifically improvement in well-being, anxiety, depression and diabetes-related distress*.

Mindful Self-compassion is an 8-week program that cultivates awareness and self-compassion. The program consists of eight weekly sessions of 2,5 hours and a half day practice day halfway the program.

Nicole Flinterman is a Dutch native for whom change of language and cultures have been a big part of her life. She is a qualified MBSR instructor, trained in the US, where Mindfulness based Stress Reduction (MBSR) originates. Her background is in Psychology. Recently moved back to her home country, she teaches Mindfulness in English.
